Mom's Medical

I am starting this fund for my mother, Birgitta, who is currently suffering from congestive heart failure and Afib. My mom taught me the value of hard work, to care for others, and the importance of family. She raised me on her own and always put me first. Now she needs to be put first.

She has been in and out of the hospital the last few years and more recently the last few days. Events in her life have added to her stress and heart problems. She was robbed at gun point in her home. She survived breast cancer and melanoma. Her car has been stolen 4 times in the past 3 years and eventually damaged beyond repair, while the car was replaced the stress and financial burden was a lot to deal with. The continous steak of bad luck never allowed her to recover. She needs a  break. 

Even though she is in her early 70s she still does tour guiding jobs and up until her heart gave out did different jobs to make ends meet. Lately she has been looking for part time work because she can't survive on her fixed income.  If you need a tour guide, she's your gal!

While I admire her enterprising spirit I have serious concerns if it is physically possible without a cardiac ablation or pacemaker. I help her any way I can, but she has medical needs beyond my means.

This fund is not a long term solution to her predicament and for other seniors in her position, but if I could help pay for some of her bills, take her to the dentist, or get enough so she could see a specialist it would relieve a heavy burden from her heart and mine.
