Jesus A. Irizarry Funeral Fund

Most of us have a short list of people we keep in our hearts. For me, Jesus Antonio Irizarry was on it. I met Jesus at the change of the millenium, playing with a band called "Side of Greens." We became fast friends and hung out just about every weekend for a three year period. Needless to say, we got into a lot of crazy situations together. He became like a brother to me over those few years. The band was short lived but our friendship was not. Even when I moved to Florida we would touch base every month to share stories about our crazy kids and recent musical ventures. I had no clue that someone so genuinely kind and giving could be hurting so bad inside. I wish I could have seen that the heart on his sleeve was broken. The world is a little less bright today.


On 6/23/2015 God came for one of his angels. Whether he made you laugh when you thought no one could, shared whatever he had to give, or just brightened your day with his presense,  I know there are enough people out there who's lives were touched by Jesus in some way.  If you are one of those people, please donate. If we can't send our friend to heaven in the Golden Cadillac he deserves, let's at least give him a fine memorial.  Thank you for whatever you can give.
