Ashley's medical expenses

For those who don’t know Ashley Beane, she is friend to many, a member of our real estate family, a proud Baylor graduate, and an all-around charming, wonderful person.  Ashley has also been fighting cancer with great success, and doctors are ramping up her treatment to be rid of the remaining cancer once and for all!

Many have asked how they can support and help Ashley during this process… first and foremost, please keep Ashley in your thoughts and prayers.  Over the past year, she has faced personal & financial challenges, and has done a fabulous job meeting those challenges as they arise.  However, the cost of her treatment is staggering, and her Affordable Care Act insurance has not covered many expenses (she has been denied coverage on tests/scans to measure her progress or it takes so long to receive a response, she has to pay out-of-pocket).

Ashley has continued to meet her medical expenses, but has many more to come.  In addition to very expensive treatments & testing, there are auxiliary costs such as price of dietary foods (think Whole Foods), and travel & hotel expenses when she receives treatment or needs testing.  As you may imagine, this has weighed heavily on Ashley emotionally.
