Our friend and colleagues tragic house fire.

Hi my name is Jo and I am fund raising for our friend and colleague Brian.
Just over a week ago, on the morning of April 14th, Brian Deakin faced an unimaginable nightmare. A fire broke out and spread to three houses in the close were he lives. Tragically, Brian's house was severely affected, and he lost all of his possessions. He told me that morning that he had lost everything, with only the clothes they were wearing left. We were devastated for Brian and his family but relieved that Brian, his wife, and their dog were all safe. Unfortunately, Brian's father had been quite ill previously, and Brian had been preoccupied with hospital visits and his Dad's wellbeing, causing his house insurance to lapse and leaving him uninsured.
Heartbreak hit again when, just 48 hours after the fire, Brian's father sadly passed away. I started a collection at work, and more and more people wanted to contribute to help in any way they can. I want to appeal to everyone to help by donating to support Brian and his family in rebuilding their home. The money we raise will go directly to Brian to help his family when they are ready.
