UPDATE January 24, 2024:

My family & I would like to thank all those that have donated thus far, and who have shared this fundraiser. Our mom was told yesterday that she has Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma, which has metastasized in her pancreas, liver and lungs . It appears that this started in her colon. She will be going to Baptist MD Anderson for her Cancer Treatments. She has her liver biopsy on January 30th, and also now needs a colon re-section surgery done to remove the section with cancer. We cannot express what an uphill battle she has before her, and us as well, trying to help the best we can. Your donations thus far have been able to help with part of her deductible, office visits and supplements recommended by her doctors. This is going to be a very expensive road ahead. As we've said previously, she is single, does not have any other income, but her own, and the copays, and specialist visits are already taking their toll, she will start having to take time off of work soon, and really could use help. Hi everyone my name is Niki and well I never thought I’d need to be writing this. I’m looking to raise money for my mom Bonnie, who was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer she had a bout of cancer when I was really young and has been in remission ever since but about a year and a half ago she started with heart issues and pain. The pain was never addressed and was put off that it was just due to her heart. Well come to find out the pain she was suffering from was cancer that has now spread. It is in her colon, her pancreas, her liver, and her lungs. The reason we’re asking for donations is not only to help her with her household bills as she will be in and out of treatment but also because all of the insurance deductibles and co-pays. We need to get more biopsies to determine what cancer it is and how to treat it but the insurance wants us to pay her deductible, which is over $6000 which we do not have right now. We have been paying for all of the treatment regarding her heart but it’s a new year and a new deductibles to be met. My mom our families lifeline and it kills us to have to picture her in any amount of pain and not being able to help ease that pain because of money is even harder to bear. Anything will help and if you don’t have anything to spare, please share this post so that way we can get it around and try to help ease our mother‘s pain and get her the treatment she needs.
