On Saturday, February 12th, 2018 Michael Murphy and family experienced a fire in their home. This fire quickly spread and while the fire department was able to arrive and assist, the results were life changing. Luckily all family members made it out with no harm but the home itself may be a total loss.
The family could only take what they could carry out in their arms and were told they could not go back into the home for some time. The family has small children and multiple pets, the amount of hardship put on the Murphy family is unfathomable. We created this fund to assist the family in their time of need.
It should also be noted that during the holiday season the entire family assisted another family (complete strangers) who lost their home during an explosion. This type of selfeless genorosity and spirit of serving others is exactlly what we aim to do for the Murphy's.
