It was a difficult decision for Wunder Garten to close our doors to you, our Wunder Garten family, but in light of COVID-19, we felt it was in the best interest of our patrons and staff's health and safety.
Since we are uncertain as to when we will be able to reopen, we are focused on finding ways for our team to survive this crisis. The only way to most directly, and quickly help them is by asking for donations on their behalf. We are calling on our incredible community to donate, share and help where they can.
All money raised will go directly to the employees in need to assist with their upcoming rent and other financial responsibilities through this incredibly tough time. We are extremely appreciative and grateful for any amount you can give.
The outpouring of warm thoughts and well wishes during this difficult time has been amazing and truly appreciated. Our team hopes that this crisis is short-lived and that we will be able to serve you again in the very near future.

About Wunder Garten
Inspired by the Bavarian beer gardens made famous in Germany, Wunder Garten opened in 2015 in an unused lot in NoMa, with the goal of providing residents of the neighborhood with a fun place to gather with friends and family for ice-cold beers and sunshine. Now, Wunder Garten is one of DC’s largest beer gardens with over 400 seats, multiple bars, lush greenery, cabanas, fire pits and heaters, and a climate-controlled beer pavilion.
