On July 15th 2022 Erik was skateboarding home from a doctor's appointment 2 blocks from his house. He was hit by a car and sustained life threatening injuries. They had to flight him by helicopter to a special facility and didn't know if he was going to make it. He was paralyzed on the right side of his body and sustained a major brain injury. He survived but cant walk, cant talk, cant really even take care of himself. We're trying to raise money to help Erik get things he needs for his therapy that insurance wont cover.
