We are a group of Michigan State University students going on a study abroad trip to South Africa this summer. The goal of our trip is to understand how the social and economic structures of South Africa impact their system of education. We will be travelling to and visiting many schools, some of which have limited funding and resources. Because some of these schools do not have adequate supplies from which to teach their students, we would like to donate children's books to them. Our goal is to raise money before our departure in the second week of May, so that we can purchase books at local stores in South Africa to give to these children.
