Hi, my name is Abby Bucher, and I have been teaching since 2005. I currently teach first grade! A few years ago, I started my business called Woven Thread but Covid came and stopped me from really reaching my full potential. After this year in the classroom, I want to launch my business and try again. Teaching is hard right now, and I would love to be in schools and classrooms working with staff and children to help them see and make connections across the curriculum, to find joy, and to provide support and care to whole schools, one teacher, and/or a small group. Right now, I am looking for capital (that I don’t have to borrow or go in debt with) so I can hire a marketing team to help me launch my business. It will cost about $5000 to pay this team for what I need and any other money I receive will help me cover any business costs, merchandise, travel costs, and other costs associated with my business. It is very scary to let go and take a risk, but I am very passionate about what I do and would love to share that passion with other communities. Thank you for donating to support me!
