Thank you for visiting my page.
Unfortunately I have fractured 2 ribs and need corrective rib surgery.
I'm sad to announce that I have had to pull out from the World Transplant Games as Im not medically fit to participate.
Thank you for all your support x

Please read my story on how important organ donation is and how is saves lives. X

My name is Ana Browne and I am a female disabled golfer who recieved the gift of life on the 22nd August 2020 during the Covid 19 panademic.
I had a life saving double lung transplant due to having Cystic Fibrosis, a life limiting respiratory condition.

I have been selected to represent Great Britain in the World Transplant Games Golf Event to be held in Germany 2025. I am so excited to be given this opportunity.

This sporting event represents the largest organ donor awareness event in the world, featuring a week of 17 sporting events.
Team GB will join over 1000 other transplant athlethes, both junior and adults. and live donors from 60 countires across the globe.

The Transplant Games is an event to raise awareness of organ donation and celebrate the gift of life. Taking part in the Transplant Games gives me purpose. I am very proud to be part of it. Staying active and participating in a sport, plays a significant part in keeping physically and emotionally well, supporting transplantees recovery.

My transplant has given me a new lease of life, before I struggled to hold a conversation and couldn't walk more than a few minutes without oxygen.
Golf helps my recovery, the feeling of being outdoors in the fresh air, regular walking and admiring the beautiful scenery is the best feeling. Golf is my therapy, it clears my mind, I feel free and happy.
Its a sport everyone can play, with no age limit., you can play competitively or socially and it's great fun.

I am an unfunded athlete, which means I rely on the generosity of supporters like you to help cover the costs of training, equipment, travel, and competition.
I would love the opportunity to compete in the individual & team golf event this year at the World Transplant Games.

I'm embarking on this exciting new challenge representing Great Britain in golf at the world Transplant Games 2025.

Your support—whether through a small donation or a larger sponsorship—will directly contribute to my journey and help me proudly represent Great Britain. Every contribution, regardless of size, brings me one step closer to achieving this dream.

Together, we can make history for Great Britain at the World Transplant Games 2025!

I will be playing golf for GB in honour of my brave young lung donor aged 16yrs old and his family. who saved my life. He has given me nearly 5 years of extra quality time with my children, family and friends, I am forever grateful.

I hope my story brings awareness to organ donation and the positive effects it can have on individual lives like mine.
Every organ donor has the potential to save upto 9 lives!

Thank you for reading my story.
