Woodrock house fire - vet bill, clothing, etc
Donation protected
Our neighbor’s home was tragically destroyed by fire this morning. Thankfully all are safe but their little dog was left behind and ultimately rescued by a wonderful MWFD fireman. Due to the soaking from the hoses and smoke inhalation, the family pet was rushed to an emergency animal hospital for inpatient treatment. The costs are significantly higher than normal vet bills and we would like to help and also support them as they try to get the necessities of life purchased soon as nearly every thing was lost.
As we begin the season of Thanksgiving and Christmas, I want to personally say how grateful we all are that they are all safe and want to demonstrate “Loving Thy Neighbor” to Sam Baker and family in a tangible way.

Update: 11/14/19 PM: The dog is doing very well at the animal hospital. She is wagging her tail and has eaten.
Update: The dog was brought home Friday, and the generosity of the community has been beautiful!
