Woodridge House Fire Tragedy
Donation protected
.In the very early hours of Sunday morning Michael Luck was asleep at his house in Woodridge QLD while his Partner Julie was going about her work at the local Woolworth packing the shelves as she normally did. Just after midnight a fire started in their home while Michael was asleep and unfortunately he lost is life. Julie was unaware of this tragedy until she arrived home to find the street full of Fire trucks and her home fully engulfed in flames. Michael was a Truck driver for a locally Brisbane based company and was due to be leaving for a trip to Mackay in North Queensland at 3am that morning, however it was a trip he never made it on.
Michael passed away in the fire and the house was completely destroyed along with all of Michael and Julie’s memories and possessions, some of what will never be able to be replaced. Everything has been lost in this fire to the point that the only clothes Julie had left was the Woolworths uniform that she was wearing that night.
Michael was a very quiet man who loved his family, golf and his trucks. Michael was a very much loved and well respected person with everyone he came into contact with, and will be sincerely missed by his by his family, friends and work colleagues.
We are trying to raise money to help Julie and the rest of Michaels family pay for the funeral and any other related expenses that go along with loosing everything in your life. We have set a target amount of $20,000.00 but are very hopeful to raise more to try and help this family re-establish their lives and move through this tragedy, so if you can spare anything to help them we would be very grateful.
Lets try and help Julie and the family get through this tough time.
