Women & Children's Center

The Los Angeles House of Ruth was founded in 1978 to serve homeless women and children. In that time the organization has grown from a four-bedroom transitional shelter to four shelters and additional duplexes throughout Los Angeles, serving more than 200 families per year. The LA House of Ruth prioritizes the well-being of the families, while they are in their care, by providing them a safe haven to rehabilitate and gain the tools necessary for a successful future. By helping these mothers achieve freedom and control over their own lives, their children benefit as well. LA House of Ruth believes that when homeless individuals, especially victims of domestic violence, receive the services they need they can overcome obstacles to self-sufficiency.

On December 8th, O’Gara Coach Beverly Hills is hosting their regular Cars and Coffee in Los Angeles’ Sunset Plaza. This destination in West Hollywood offers a stunning view of the city, trendy boutiques, and popular restaurants. Each Holiday season O’Gara proudly supports The Los Angeles House of Ruth by hosting this worthwhile fundraiser, as well as a toy drive for the children. Please give generously and join us at Sunset Plaza on the 8th by registering at www.sunsetgranturismo.com
