Wombat habitat at Two Songs Sanctuary

We wish to continue building a one acre wombat enclosure. Our adult wombats need as much space to live as close as possible to their natural habitat and be content. At present we have 3 wombats and 24 kangaroos and new arrivals of orphans each season.
The existing wombat enclosure has cost us $20,000 already and  we now are starting on the last enclosure. Two Songs Sanctuary is providing a forever home to orphaned native animals and we are self funded. In South Australia the Government regulations prevent the release of orphan hand raised wildlife back to the wild. All of our rescued orphans will be with us for 30 years or the rest of their lives. This is why it is so important to create a habitat as large and as close as possible to their natural environment.  It is a work in progress any support will help complete the last enclosure quicker and will create a better life for the wombats. We are hoping to reach the stage where we can introduce them and continue to improve it while they are in the enclosure.
The cost is mainly because the entire enclosure needs to be meshed at below ground level so the wombats cannot dig out, this has proven to be a huge expense. Our first GoFundMe raised $10,000 we are continuing the same GoFundMe to try and continue the last wombat enclosure. ALL donations are gratefully appreciated and GO DIRECTLY to the animals.
