Wilbur's 54th Birthday Fundraiser!

My partner Wilbur is ready to celebrate his birthday on February 22. You can help!

Fifty four (54) is special in Jewish tradition. Many of you know 18 = חי/chai = life! Will you consider sending a "L'chaim!" to Wilbur with a multiple of $18? For those of you who didn't grow up with this cultural math: 36/54/.../108/etc.

For Wilbur, 2023 presented several ups and downs, including several eye surgeries and close-but-no-cigar job interviews. On my end, I was limited in my support for Wilbur as I recovered from a car accident and on-going leg damage, and out of work for 8 months. I'm much improved, working part-time at a museum and continuing to provide pet care -- still limited in my ability to assist Wilbur financially.

Any donations will be used to help cover his share of rent, utilities, and groceries beyond SNAP (food stamps) until he secures steady employment, for which he is looking far and wide.
