Save Gato

Hi friends. Those who know me personally, know how much my cat means to me. Gato is a sweet boy around 10 years old (which is young in cat years). He is my support pet and my best friend. Gato is not doing so well. Gato opened my door at around 2 am last night and started hysterically meowing.  My first instinct was that he was trying to alarm me about someone or something else. Never did it cross my mind that he was in pain. He started walking very slowly and odd and that’s when I knew something was wrong with him. I rushed him to the animal hospital. They told me if I didn’t bring him in when I did, he would have passed away the next morning. Gato’s kidneys are failing. The doctor gave me the option to either pay $2,500 out of pocket for his treatments or euthanize him. My natural response was to save him. I ask you to please donate what you can.
