Ventilators for Connecticut COVID-19 Patients!

Westport has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. It's the epicenter of the outbreak in Connecticut with 115 confirmed cases as of 3/30/20.  Norwalk has recently surpassed Wesptort with 271 confirmed cases, and the numbers continue to grow (CT Department of Public Health).

Inspired by all the good people out there, we want to help our community and neighbors in Westport and Fairfield County by buying state-of-the-art ventilators to save people with severe respiratory cases as a result of the COVID-19 infection.

ICU beds and ventilators are the most important life-saving tools in this pandemic.  " The ventilators are the difference between life and death for thousands of New Yorkers" said Mayor DeBlasio.

Our goal is to purchase a total of 4 ICU ventilators that can help children and adults. That's 4 lives we can save weekly until we get through these tough times.

The total number of cases in Connecticut is 2,571 (3/30), with 1,445 of them in Fairfield County (CT Department of Public Health).  Elon Musk did a great job in California of securing more than 1,000 ventilators, and we can do a great job here at home as well.

We have pre-ordered 2 state-of-the-art ventilators (sizes for children and adults) that will be shipped on 4/15/2020 to be donated to hospitals in Fairfield County (Norwalk Hospital, Danbury Hospital, and Bridgeport Hospital).
