Wesley's trip to Washington, DC

Hello, my name is Wesley and I am a sixth grade student at Kings Elementary. One of my teachers nominated me for the Junior National Youth Leaders Conference  because she feels that I have strong leadership potential.  The week-long conference will take place in Washington D.C. in June, and therefore I am raising money to cover the cost of tuition and travel. My goal is to raise $3000.

By attending the conference this summer, I believe I will gain enhanced skills and abilities in becoming an effective leader. I will better understand the key concepts of leadership and how to apply them in my life.  I will meet other students my age from across the country as we go through this program together.  I am excited to attend this unique opportunity.
