Andrea Celeste "Andi" Shaffer, 33, a resident of the Hillsboro community, died Thursday morning, August 19, 2021 in Vernonia. Born March 19, 1988, in Honolulu, Hawaii, the daughter of David Caldwell and Rebecca (Swift) O’Dell. She was raised and received her education in Hillsboro, Oregon and Ripon. She was united in marriage to Chad Wesley Shaffer on October 19, 2013, in Hillsboro. They celebrated their 7th Wedding Anniversary this past October. Following their marriage, they have made their home in the Hillsboro community. Survivors include her husband, Chad Shaffer, of the family home in Hillsboro, Oregon; her mother, Rebecca O’Dell, of Hillsboro, Oregon; her father and stepmother, David and Margaret Caldwell, of Ripon, California and her five siblings, Shauna Hunt, of Brussels, Belgium; Jack Caldwell, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Patrick Caldwell; Timothy Caldwell and Kelly Caldwell, all of Ripon, California; and her grandparents, Marge Swift, of Sequim, Washington and Leona Conwell, of LaPine, Oregon .
