Wendy who is disabled and homeless

I am Donna and I am organizing this fundraiser for Wendy Wilson who recently became homeless from no fault of her own. She lived with her male partner for ten plus years. According to Wendy, her male partner recently became terminally ill and is now in hospice care. The male partner's daughter, who is his power of attorney, evicted Wendy from the property so that the family could sell the property. Wendy is now living in her van. This is a 1997 van and is in need of several repairs to keep it in running for her.

Wendy is 70 years old and disabled. She is living in her van and renting space in campsites. She is also staying in a hotel as long as we have enough funds to pay for the hotel costs. Her income is only Social Security, and it is less than $1,090 a month. She cannot find a place to live that she can afford. Prior to Wendy living with her male partner, she was a dog trainer and she also rescued homeless dogs.

Any donated amount would be greatly appreciated. Donations received will go towards repairing Wendy's van, paying for nights at the campsite, and or paying for nights at a hotel.

Wendy approves this fundraiser. I will keep you updated as to how the donations are spent.
