We the Sims family, on behalf of our beloved son, brother, father, and friend of many former JPSO officer Shannon Sims, humbly ask for your financial help in supporting him and his family during his time of injustice. How does a 21 year veteran who is a pillar of the community get immediately terminated without an investigation or suspension? To know Shannon, is to love him. He will give you the shirt off his back. He is a Christian, caring, empathetic and loving man. His work ethic and time served on the force should have been considered prior to being terminated, not the color of his skin.
