Hello, friends. My name is Salim Jamil. I live in northern Gaza City, and we have been displaced for the twelfth time to the south of the city.

I live in a tent with my family. We all face extreme challenges and difficulties. We face hunger, fear, and exhaustion. I beg everyone who has compassion and love for us and our children to contribute and help us for the sake of our 5 children. Two of them need milk and diapers, and another is malnourished from lack of food.

We went a week without eating, drinking only water and salt. Now we have found some food in the markets, but we have no money to buy it. We and our children are facing great challenges. We need to buy food for our children, who cry every day. It pains us to hear them cry from hunger. My friends, please, we need to buy food.

I am a university student, and I was studying at the university, but now I have lost five members of my family, which has been a huge shock for us and our children. Our house was completely destroyed and we no longer have a home. We have faced many famines.

Today the sounds of explosions and bullets have not stopped for an hour. When I texted with Liz recently, we could hear the drones & bombs and everything was covered by huge smoke that causes bad breathing.

We are slowly dying here, and your help could save innocent lives. The children here are crying out to you. We love you and need you with us. Please, my friends.
