Kayden & Alexis Relief Fund

Kayden and Alexis have been working tirelessly over the past 3 years building their dream home in their hometown of Ste-Anne, Manitoba. While both working full time jobs, they put in thousands of hours building their home from the ground up.

Kayden sourced all materials, poured the concrete, built the framing, installed the plumbing, electrical, insulation, roofing, siding, and interior finishing. Everything.

On January 9th, 2024, the culmination of 3 years worth of countless hours, blood, sweat, and tears was destroyed in a house fire, the cause of which unknown.

By the time firefighters arrived on scene, the house was reduced to ash. Nothing survived the flames, leaving them with only the clothes they had on their backs.

Due to a temporary lapse in house insurance coverage, Kayden and Alexis will be receiving no financial aid.

In an instant, Kayden and Alexis went from having their dream home, a proposal coming later that month, and being ready to start having kids, to having their whole life completely turned upside down.

Not only have they lost their home in which they planned to raise their future children, everything they owned was destroyed. They have no clothes, winter gear, furniture, household items, electronics, nothing.

My name is Chadd Tomy, Kayden has been my best friend since I met him in 2016 in our first year of Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba.

All proceeds raised will be used by Kayden and Alexis to purchase clothing, winter gear, household items, assist them in finding alternative living arrangements, and in rebuilding their lives.

All proceeds will be sent directly to Kayden via e-Transfer.
