Washable pad kits for 600 girls
Donation protected
In Uganda, 30% of the schoolgirls drop out of school early because they lack money for sanitary pads when they get their period. Many of these girls will marry early. In order to help girls stay in school our graduates from sewing school are willing to make washable pads to give to school girls. Each pad kit has 6 washable pads that should last for 3 years. We are asking 10 Euros per kit. Any profits from this project will help support the teenage mothers who are sewing the pads. So your donation not only helps a girl stay in school, but it also gives a job to a girl that never had a chance to attend school. Suubi Teen MOPS Uganda is a licenced NGO that gives vocational skills to teenage mothers in the slums of Kampala Uganda.
