Hi, my name is Jose and I am fundraising for my family. On 1/10/2023, 2:00am, my family's life changed overnight. As everyone was sleeping, the roof of their apartment collapsed and the water sitting on the roof, plus the water of the active rain, began to poor into our home and quickly flood the apartment. You can imagine the shock and fear that they were in. The only option was to evacuate immediately and spend the night in a shelter facility.

We saved what we could, but it was nothing more than minimal clothes. Nothing else was able to be saved. My family lost everything a home consists of (furniture, appliances, electronics, food, and meaningful belongings, etc.). My family has not been able to work, my siblings have not been able to go to school, since the incident.

The sole purpose of this fundraiser is to help my parents and siblings be able to rebuild a home again. From blankets to furniture, they will need it all. They will be completely starting over.
