Our dog Shadow is more than just a pet she is family, our constant companion, and a source of unconditional love during both our happiest and hardest moments.

Recently, Shadow and I were involved in a terrible car accident that changed everything in an instant. Despite taking every possible precaution to keep her safe in the car, Shadow suffered a devastating injury and broke her leg. Seeing her in pain has been one of the most heartbreaking experiences our family has ever faced.

We rushed her to the vet immediately and did everything we could. We’ve already paid $1,000 for an emergency cast to stabilize her leg, but we were then told that she urgently needs surgery to properly heal. The cost of this surgery is $8,000, an amount we simply cannot afford on our own after everything we’ve already been through.

Shadow is a fighter. Even in pain, she still wags her tail, still looks at us with trust in her eyes, and still tries to be strong for us. She deserves the chance to heal, to run again, to live the full and happy life she’s always known.
