Help Becky Bounce Back

Donation protected
Hi,
My Name is Becky

I was finally convinced that I should make one of these.
Apparently humbling myself to ask for help is my current life lesson.
I have had some of the most expensive life adventures happen to me in the last 2 years.

2 years ago I had what was for me, a nice little nest egg that I was quite proud of since I was just coming from a divorce. Unfortunately two years ago my Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 renal cancer. He was given 3-6 months. We got less than 3 weeks. Despite family members helping with tickets- flying us to Houston to help and for the funeral used it up.

Since then we, Myself and my 3 kids left at home, have had 2 transmissions blow, two complete new sets of tires, and a series of other car mishaps like alternators and misfiring cylinders.

That brings me to my Health. In the last 3 years I have had 5 Major surgeries, two types of cancer, and a foot reconstruction. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis & fibromyalgia which requires substantial monthly expenses. I take 17 pills every day from 6 separate prescriptions, and a monthly infusion that is upwards of $12k a month to maintain my mobility. Luckily I do have insurance to offset those prices, but even with insurance its a hefty amount.

I had a bunion and a nerve removed from my right foot in July. I could no longer wear normal shoes, and I was getting lightning streaks in my foot every time I walked.

Unfortunately the screws from that surgery caused my bone to be more fragile. While walking up my apartment stairs one day, I tripped a little and broke the first metatarsal right below the screw location.
Back to surgery I went.

Because this was an unplanned surgery, I did not have the funds or PTO to take a month off work. However; I can't walk around on a broken foot.
Which brings me to now.

My insurance has found every loophole they can to deny my claims. I was assured I would get a $3000 payout from American Fidelity pre-surgery. I have received only $235. Between massive car emergencies, Health catastrophes, loss of wages, and all the other expensive things in my life- I am at a point where I can't pay my bills.

I will fight AF, However that doesn't help me now.
To be clear, the funds will go toward
1. fixing my car (I had to get a new transmission, so that is fixed. It still needs its gas tank sealed so it doesn't leak gas, and new bearings in all the wheels)
2. Offsetting my loss of wages (paying rent and buying food)
3. Covering the medical bills from surgeries

Since January 1st, I've been working 6.5 hours at my job at an elementary school (max hours allowed), and then doing another 4-8 hours DoorDashing before I go home to my kids. Weekends I have been working my 3rd job at a catering company, or doing 8-10 hours DoorDashing. (All while dealing with Medical and car emergencies). Most of the time I was still wearing a walking boot, or walking on a broken foot since it took more than a month for my doctor to listen to me.
I have done everything that I could do, to do all this on my own. I'm failing- So I humbly ask for help.

I know that many, many people are experiencing personal financial hardships currently. I am truly appreciative of any help offered no matter how big or small.

I truly appreciate you taking the time to read my story.
Thank you
