Mia Biera Memorial Fund

On March 25, 2016, at almost one o'clock in the morning, Mia and her boyfriend Joseph were headed home going southbound on the interstate. They had a blow out and pulled over into the service lane to change the tire. A truck rear ended their vehicle while Joseph was changing his tire and while Mia was buckled inside. Joseph passed away quickly after being brought to the hospital. Mia was pulled out of the burning vehicle by a passing samaritan that stopped to help. She was transported to UMC in critical condition. On Friday evening the doctors informed her family that Mia had no brain activity. Our Mia was gone.

Mia had chose to be an organ donor last year while renewing her drivers license. Mia's death is a tragedy for all that knew her! She was a beautiful soul inside and out. Mia will be saving 8 lives by being a donor!! EIGHT lives!!! That is amazing and shows us just how beautiful and unselfish she truly was!

This account was setup for Mia's  family as a blessing. It will help with the burden of all expenses that were not expected. The family have almost all expenses covered with help from insurance policies. This account will be a blessing to them for anything not covered and for the immediate family to have sufficient time off to grieve.
