Donna's Breast Cancer Battle

Hi, I'm Deitra and Donna is my sister. I'm raising money to help save her life.

Donna was initially diagnosed in December 2015 with stage 2 breast cancer. She fought through 6 doses of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, 33 rounds of radiation, reconstruction surgery, four additional surgeries/procedures, and 5 years of hormone therapy. In October 2021 she learned her cancer changed properties which rendered the hormone therapy no longer effective. Her cancer returned, stage 4, and metastasized to her brain, liver, and left lung. She underwent brain surgery in December 2021 to remove the tumor and began chemotherapy in January 2022 to treat the liver & lung tumors. She's endured weekly chemotherapy on a clinical trial since January 2022. Doctors prescribe she will be on some type of therapy for the rest of her life.

She served in Desert Storm and was awarded medals for her actions and service. She retired from the Air Force with over 23 years of service. Though she's a disabled veteran, she worked for the Air Force and Army as a civilian employee for 12 years. She's dedicated 35+ years to USA and is now in need of help, as she is no longer able to work.

My sister is one of the most generous people I know. She will help anyone in need, if she can. She volunteers for charities and donates to causes that move her.

Donna's found a holistic treatment and healing center she firmly believes will serve her better than the current weekly chemotherapy treatment plan. The holistic center does not accept insurance and must be fully paid before treatment. I'm humbly asking, on her behalf, for your help and support via donations. Anything will help and everything will be greatly appreciated.

Donated funds will be used for holistic treatment at an institute for healing, travel expenses, hotels, food, and sustainment once she's returned home. Your support will allow Donna to focus on her health - the most important thing.
