Help our Ukraine Family

Donation protected
Valeria, her mother Liudmyla & their dog Mila are from Cherihiv in Ukraine.
We have applied to be their sponsor under the Homes for Ukraine scheme.

Valeria, her mother Liudmyla & their dog Mila will now travel over 1671 miles by train from Cherkasy in Ukraine to Moldova then onto Romania, through Hungary, Austria, Germany and into France to Calais.
I will then meet our family in Calais and help them across to the UK.
The reason they are taking this route is so that they can travel with their dogs.

During this process we met an angel of a woman Tina! Tina is amazingly going to fly to Romania to meet our family as well as her own & travel by train with them ☺️

All train journeys are free but I am asking if my family & friends would very kindly make a donation for their accommodation on the way. The journey will take about 5 days, & we estimate that the hotels will be approximately £250.

There there are also a few other things I would like to ensure they have before they arrive; whilst I will spend what I can (& the £350 government money will be spent on their food, additional utility usage and extras that crop up for them during their stay) but a bit of help would be amazing!

I have set up a go fund me page for their accommodation for the journey here, for a months bus pass each until they have access to their own funds and essentials.

So if anyone can help, even just a few pounds each that would be incredible. Anything extra will be given to our family to help get them on their feet..

A months bus pass each to allow them to travel as and when they like; to give them the freedom and independence until they can afford their own; cost £80 for and adult, £70 for an under 20.
Some funds to buy essentials that they may not want 2nd hand like: new underwear, shoes,
Loungewear, slippers, Personal essentials.

Thank you so much to those of you who have kindly donated bits already.
If anyone can donate the following that would be greatly appreciated:
-spare single sheets/duvet covers/pillows; I have bought one set of each for their beds but a spare would be great.
-A spare TV they could have in their room: 28” under (we do not have sky so a smart TV would be ideal so they can access channels/news ect)can return if they decide to move on.
-Summer clothes:as they fled with just winter clothing
-Perfumes: a luxury for us all, but if you have one you haven’t opened from Christmas that you could donate that would be great.
-Hair straighteners
-Hot water bottles
-Thick blankets

Thank you all so very much
