At just 7 years old, our sweet golden boy Harvey has been diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer in his leg. This rare and fast-moving disease originates in the immune system and has already begun attacking the bone in his leg. He has already experienced bone loss and is in consistent pain. We are doing everything we can to keep him comfortable and happy.

The cancer has progressed alarmingly quickly. Our treatment options are limited, and without intervention, Harvey will experience crippling pain and may not see the end of the month. While no treatment can fully cure him, the oncologist has informed us chemotherapy, radiation therapy or completed leg amputation could ease his pain and potentially give us more precious time together.

The cost of treatment has been quoted around $10,000 for amputation and $15,000 for chemo/radiation. We’re not expecting a miracle—but even just a few more days or weeks with Harvey, who has stood by me through so much, would mean the world to us.
