Vinny Vega was an icon and a bright star. Adored by his colleagues and friends near and far. Vinny's big heart radiated from his bright eyes and adorable smile. He'd lend a hand to strangers without a second thought. Mostly a goofball, and sometimes a dork. We love him and will surely miss the irreplaceable part he brought to all of us.

Vinny was all things bright and wild and colorful. He loved hard, and lived boldly in pursuit of purpose and joy. From his bear hugs and broad smiles, to his laughter that animated his body, Vinny was the definition of jubilance. Life will be less vibrant without him, but if you look, you’ll find him shining among the bold, bright colors of the world.

We are raising money to cover funeral costs and settle his other final expenses. When we reach our goal, and expenses have been covered, any unused funds will be gifted in his memory to the Trevor Project via another fund to allow his gift to grow. The important work done by the Trevor Project was close to Vinny’s heart, providing a 24/7 suicide hotline and other life-saving resources for LGBTQ youth.
