On Wednesday June 13, our families received news that would forever change our lives.  Our family member, Gerald Scarano had passed away. The circumstances surrounding his death were untimely, devastating and shocking for us.

There is never a good time to say good-bye to a loved one but when they are robbed of their life, it is even more difficult.

Our families are struggling not only with the news but with the financial burden this tragedy has brought. Since Gerald was not married, his siblings and their families now carry the weight of ensuring his home and assets are managed in his afterlife.  With this tragedy, there comes enormous expenses for cleaning his home, paying his mortgage and other expenses from his unexpected passing.  Any additional money from expenses will be used to memorialize Jerry, in a way to be determined by his family and friends.

Lunch will follow at St. James Church (184 S Finley Ave. Basking Ridge NJ 07920).
