Vicky's Walk
As many of you know we came extremely close to losing my Mum at the beginning of the year due to her catching covid. My Mum ended up on a ventilator fighting for her life for 3 weeks.
As a family we cannot thank the NHS York Intensive Care Unit enough, they saved my Mum’s life.
The staff were amazing, caring and very supportive. To work in ICU must be exhausting but to work in ICU through a pandemic must have been horrific. If I can make just that little bit of difference to patients and staff lives through my fundraising, it will all be worth it.
No one knows when or if we may need ICU and any donation however small will be put to great use.
I started my walk on 12th April 2021 and have 1 year to complete, I am walking the full length of the country - Yes, 874 miles in one year.
I would really appreciate it if you could follow the link and donate any amount, as everything helps.
I have also spoken to the charity and been told the money I raise will go towards York ICU
ALSO IF YOU SEE ME OUT WALKING PLEASE BEEP BEEP TO GIVE ME ENCOURAGE FOR THAT NEXT MILE
Thank you xx
