Help for Winston

Hi I’m Aleyshia and Winston is my fur baby. He’s 5 years old. The other day he came through the cat flap dragging his hind legs. I used my last £200 to get him to the emergency vets but now they want to take bloods (£200) so an x-Ray (£400) an MRI (up to £6k) then possible surgery.

I have worked all my life and now because I don’t claim any benefits, no one can help me with the financial side of this.

He is no longer insured due to increasing costs and my wage being insufficient since moving to part time to become a full time student.

I have always paid my way in society and now I’m desperately seeking help from the wider community. I can’t just let him suffer but I can’t afford the extortionate vet fees.

Hes still eating and playing a little but his quality of life will diminish and I fear he will give up.

I am more than happy to provide videos or proof of Winston’s illness if need be.

I just don’t know what else to do.

Anything anyone can spare would be so gratefully appreciated and if there is anything left over I vow to donate the rest to an animal charity.
