Hi, My name is Desiree Emig and for the last 6 years I have been fighting a court battle because I stood up to a Bully. Most of you know this entire story but a brief explanation is in 2016 I worked for a terrible person for 11 months. When I was not compensated for working those 11 months for her I sued her for my wages. You see this employer is known to do this to people, a fact I wish I knew before taking the job, as a way to get free labor as well as a means for her to alter her taxes in a way that benefits her financially. She did threaten me that if I sued her that she would use her ties in the small county we live in and try to ruin my life, say I was a thief and make sure it was a felony along with other threats. At that point I was naive and said back that she couldn’t do that because I had not done anything wrong and she couldn’t prove I did something I didn’t do! To which she said she didn’t have to prove it she just had to say I did it! And that is exactly what has happened. For over 6 years! The corruption in my case has been ridiculous and I finally have a chance to stand up for myself after 6 years. But, after everything we have endured over these past 6 years we need help paying for the attorney. Time is of the essence and I need to get the first $2000 to the attorneys immediately. That is why I am turning to Go Fund Me to plead for your help.

I taught my kids to stand up to bullies and that’s just what I did! Instead of being on the side of justice the county and corrupt people in charge would rather let a liar ruin a good hardworking person! I will not ever stop standing up to people like her.
