Veteran in dire need.

I am a disabled veteran who served in the US Army for 14 years as a Paratrooper. I have a brain injury that I incurred during combat operations while serving overseas, a broken back, partial hearing loss, and a bad knee, and it has been a stumbling block in maintaining a career, as well as finding one. I live primarily off of disability, which, unexpectedly, and sadly, was denied during my reevaluation by the VA, after 8 years of trying to get it; I depended heavily on that and now my income has shrunk to half of what I was making before. I lost my job and ended up living in my car, which I then had to drop out of college and put my teaching career on hold. I found a job at a large pay cut, which I currently have, but I'm about to lose due to downsizing. Needless to say, I've emptied out my savings trying to pay bills, but, now, I have nothing left.
I've sold almost everything to stay afloat, and it has gotten so bad that I couldn't even get a birthday card for my daughter or fiance, whose birthday is on the same day. I'm going to lose my home if I don't think of a way to get out of this. I feel like an absolute failure for asking anyone for a hand, but I can't bear looking at my daughters face anymore knowing that I can't properly provide for her right now. Really, I just need one months worry of bills covered until I can find a job.
