I Can't Smile Without You

After decades without dental insurance or the income enabling me to seek dental care, the dentist has informed me that it is necessary for me to have full upper and lower dentures. The procedure includes removal of all remaining upper and lower teeth, placement of implants to prevent further bone loss in the jaw and to anchor the dentures, and multiple fittings of the dentures as they heal.  Due to my phobia and anxiety, the dentist is also insisting on my being sedated for the extensive procedure.  As a low income employee  of a not-for-profit in the substance use and behavioral health treatment field with minimal dental insurance, the cost of the procedures is prohibitive. I have tried researching dental schools and grant programs, but have had no success.  While having to have dentures is emotionally  painful and damaging to my self esteem, it is imperative to allow me to eat and to prevent further health issues.  If you have the means and desire to help, please help put a smile back on my face.
