For some of you this is BIG NEWS! For others, you have been on this journey with us for the last several months - and we can't be more thankful. We have decided to adopt a little girl from the Democratic Republic of Congo! We're so excited to give this child an opportunity to grow up in our home and teach her the best things that we know. As you may know, the DRC is a potentially frightening place to be a child. We would like nothing more than to bring home our little girl before she witnesses more hate and pain.

In order to bring her home ASAP - we've started a crowdsourcing fundraiser to raise the money that we need to make our adoption a success. We have a donations goal of $8,000 that will go towards the initial cost of the adoption, travel costs, and supplies to the orphanage. It's been our dream to help give a child an opportunity like this and we hope that you will consider helping us make our dream a reality. This is HARD for us to ask - we believe it is OUR decision and not to be financed on the backs of other but a few things have transpired that has pushed us in this direction - the timeline to bring home our little girl was shortened by many months and we need to raise funds quicker than anticipated.
