Vang Family Relief Fund

On the evening of Saturday, August 25, during a family birthday celebration, ever adventurous, four year old, H. Vang, accidentally fell into a swimming pool.  And just like that, a festival Saturday turned in a family’s worst nightmare. 

   H. was triaged in a Fresno area hospital, and then sent to Valley Children’s hospital.  He is currently in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where he is expected to stay for weeks, possibly longer. He has a long hard road before him. 

   H. has a mother, father, older brother, and a brand new baby sister due any day. H’s father is Dong Vang, a teacher in Fresno Unified School District. Mr. Vang teaches high need, high risk students, in South West Fresno.  With his son’s unexpected severe traumatic brain injury, a new baby only days away, and carrying the brunt of being the primary provider for his family, we are reaching out to family, friends, and the community to help this devastated family. When a child is fighting for his life, the very last thing a parent should have to worry about is affording to be able to be by your child’s side.  Any and all donations would be appreciated.
