Vanessa Guillen Mural at Fort Hood East Gate Texas

We are asking your help to help us paint a mural for Vanessa Guillen''s Memory at the East Gate (Bernie Beck Gate) of Fort Hood on the corner of S Fort Hood St and E Rainer Ave in front of the Sick Made Tattoo Shop. We need the funds to cover the cost for the muralist Cherine Mendoza and paint. We have already covered Air Flight from California, Hotel and Transportation and just need some help across the finish line. We need to pay for paint, babysitting (3 children 13, 7, 7months), and paint supplies including scaffold or tall ladders. We are greatly appreciative to everyone that can help us put down a massive statement piece at the exit gates of Fort Hood so no soldier at that base will be able to avoid the memory of Vanessa Guillen and the silence the base held as her family desperately looked for Vanessa. Just as each person leaves that gate they will be obliged to see this amazing statement piece for many many years to come.
