Vanessa and Baby Prem
Kekoa Prem legacy fund for Vanessa+1
Kekoa was admitted into the hospital on 7/12/2020 for his persistent cough, low o2 and monitoring. During preliminary testing they did find a mass in his lungs and they would need to take a biopsy. The Drs did mention that if results stated any type of lung cancer there would be no treatment options due to the location in his main airway. The Doctors were hoping it was not lung cancer because of his age. Though Kekoa was diagosed with advanced Squamous cell lung cancer. Squamous cell lung carcinoma occurs when abnormal lung cells multiply out of control and form a tumor. The severity of his condition and vulnerable immune system would not allow him to withstand the aggressive treatment for lung cancer and he would need to be kept intubated and under sedation. His condition worsened and passed away on 7/23/2020. Kekoa's life was taken too soon, he was 29.
He leaves behind Vanessa who is pregnant with their unborn child due in February, as well as his family. Kekoa was the epitome of Mr. Aloha. He loved Vanessa with everything he had and wanted nothing more than to start this next chapter in life together.
There has been an outpouring amount of love to Vanessa during this time and many people have said that they would like to contribute financially to help take at least one weight off of her shoulders.
All donations are appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. And if you can not donate please say a prayer for the family. All funds raised will be given to Vanessa to best support her and, their child.
If we can learn anything from this tragedy, it is that life is unpredictable and we never know when our last day on this earth will be. It is important to make sure that our loved ones will be cared for.
If you would also like to personally donate,
