Valerie (Vali) Tica

Dear friends,

We have created this page for Valerie (Vali) Tica and her family as they journey through the most challenging chapter of their lives, fighting against cancer.

A few years ago Vali was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer, and today she is in the hospital struggling to keep the pain under control but continues to remain faithful and believe in healing.

She continues to keep her faith and has been a warrior fighting against this senseless disease. Vali has been hospitalized for various treatments in the last few years, but the hopes and options doctors are providing are very limited at this time. The chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy treatment have not worked long-term. Recently, we learned cancer metastasized to her entire body and her brain.

Vali's loving husband, Corneliu, has stopped working and has now become her full-time caregiver as they continue to look for options. They are not giving up hope for Vali's healing, but their financial struggles are real. The most recent months have been challenging for this family as she remains at the Emory Hospital for continued care and treatment. Vali's faith in God and her love for her family and friends have been one of her greatest qualities and a driving force.

We are grateful for every donation, small or big, and we appreciate all the prayers as we continue to navigate these challenging times. It would help support this beautiful family in this time of need.
