V Was My Nanny
Donativo protegido
Hello friends and family!
As most of you know, I am in my very last semester of college at The New York Film Academy. Both me and my family have worked very hard to put me through school in order to give me the best tools possible to tackle my career in this crazy industry. I am so proud of the work I have done in and outside of school and from the bottom of my heart, I thank those that have helped me along the way.
In order to graduate, I need to write, star-in and produce my own short film.
TITLE:
V Was My Nanny
a dark-comedy written by Jade Rose Truglio
LOGLINE:
On the road to self-destruction, 24-year-old nanny, V, hits rock bottom. In order to heal and get her life back on track, she must find the will within herself to face the child she has hurt the most.
MY ARTISTIC MESSAGE:
I want my story to reach anyone who has ever been ridden with so much self-hatred, they sabotaged their own life because of it. I want to replace that self-hatred with laughter instead. Part of growing up means taking responsibility for the people you have hurt. I want people to see this film and feel the courage to face their emotional demons. We are all on the road to recovery in some way, shape or form. It is not an easy path, and not one that most people are willing to walk. I hope this film will enlighten people in some small way.

FUNDING:
In order to accomplish this, I need a rough budget of $1,500. 100% of this money will go towards the production needs necessary to create my film: permits, props, costumes, locations, cast/crew, high quality film equipment, etc.
I would like to thank you all for taking the time to read this. The smallest of amounts will go a very long way!
Thank you so much!
