Raising Money to Help My Mom

Hi everyone, my name is Glenda and this is my beautiful mother Dorothy, who is 63. As many of you know or have experienced COVID-19 has had a strong impact on our lives. My mother was laid off in June 2020 and was unemployed until February 2021. Getting a job during the pandemic is hard especially at her age of 63 and building your way up once you get a job is even harder. Most of the year money is tight, food, water, bills, and rent are her top priorities. She adopted me at 7 1/2 months old and brought me into her life raising me as a single mom. For most of my life I can only remember money being tight and how much of a toll that took on her. This year its been even more, as I struggle with mental illness I was in 24/7 care for about 2 and half months and currently still doing treatment. With the holidays coming up I want to give her some relief, some weight off her shoulders, and some joy for the holidays. All of the money donated will go to my mother and to food, rent, water and bills. The greatest amount of love, blessings, and joy goes out to you all, thank you so much, anything truly helps.
