Rest In Love Dad
Spende geschützt
On April 28, 2020, our dad‘s life was taken while on a trip in the Philippines. He and our mom took a vacation to the Philippines late February. They have been there since, because they could not return home due to COVID-19. Unexpectedly, our dad had a stroke and had to be rushed to the hospital for surgery. With limited healthcare in the PI, he did not make it to surgery and God decided to take him from us. We never thought that February would be the last time we would ever see our father again.
Our dad, Alfredo (Edong) Cacpal, is the hardest working man we know. Everything he has done in life has been to support his family. He left behind a wife and 4 sons who love him and idolize him for the person he was. We did not expect him to be taken so soon at the age of 54, so far away from home. No one is ever prepared to lose a father, especially at a time like this.
With the Global Pandemic, we are limited to traveling and unable to accompany our mom while she grieves in a country so far from us. We want so much to bring our dad home to Hawaii, and give him the proper burial he deserves.
We are asking for your help to allow us (along with family and friends) to see him one last time and say our goodbyes. Also, to help with funeral costs. No amount is too small and we appreciate anything. We thank you so much for your help, condolences, and prayers. We also ask that you continue to keep our family in your prayers as we struggle through this difficult time.
