My friend Bettina Morrell (Tina Donoflio) is a young wife and mother of 2 young children ages 9 & 11. Recently & unexpectedly, she has been diagnosed with cecal colon cancer and is scheduled for surgery on Friday, 11/13/2020.  Due to the healthcare regulations in the state of NJ, the family lost their health insurance because they own a small business and did not have enough employees to make them eligible for coverage under Obamacare. Additionally COVID 19 has negatively impacted the family business, as well. Unfortunately, the family has applied for and been denied NJ Charity Care.
   Bettina's doctor has said that the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes and must be removed immediately. After surgery this Friday, the doctor will determine if further treatment is necessary to include potentially chemotherapy and/or radiation.
