Brain cancer help 4 Ashley (Bunch) Bowen please!

So, My name is Skip. Some of you remember back in late 2017 we got the tragic news my wife Ashley had brain cancer. To say the least we all were shocked and devestated. We had a 3yr old little girl at the time which made things even harder. But by the grace of God she made it through. She lost a lot of memory, her personality changed, and she became very fatigued among many other issues. But, my wife NEVER gives up. She always has a smile no matter how she feels, and if you ask her how she is...it's always I'm good. Which by far is the truth. But she doesn't like to worry others or ask for help in anyway what so ever. She had to quit her job she loved more than anything due to her condition. She was a cosmetology instructor and loved every minute of it. Despite being jobless. She decided to start a small business from home. She always wants to feel like she contributes in some way. And she did just that. She started Bunnicash Arts. Selling resin art and sublimation items such as t-shirts and other items. But it's to the point now she is in so much pain, rarely does she feel good enough to do it.

Not to long ago Ashley had her yearly MRI..and once again we were shocked with the news it's back, it's grown and we need to operate as soon as we can. Ashley is very emotional amd stressed over this. Her biggest fear is our daughter being motherless. Once again putting others before herself.

They told us her cancer would eventually return...it could be weeks to years. She made it 5 years. Our daughter is now 8yrs old and is fully aware of what is going on and just as scared.

Her first surgery was at MU in Columbia, MO. But she decided to see a highly rated neuro surgeon at KU. They have said this time they more than likely want her to do chemo and radiation. Which means daily trips for months on end to Kansas. Before we found out this info we had just gotten a loan to add to our house...had we known this was in the near future that wouldn't have happened. Bc it has left us strapped. I have personally been working all the overtime I can and we are barely surviving.

August 4th, 2022 is Ashley surgery date. I have taken off a few days to be with her. It's very undecided how we will have the funds to get her back and forth to KU all the time for treatments. Plus our normal bills piling up and soon new medical bills. We are still paying on the last surgery.

As I have said before Ashley doesn't ask for anything. Matter of fact when people say that they will pray for her. She says please pray for my daughter. I say please no matter if you can or cannot help us to please pray for both of them.

They have said Ashley's surgery will take twice the time it did last time. They want to put her through an mri while she is under to see if they got all of the cancer they can. We know it will never be 100% gone as it has "roots" to deep in her brain to operate on. So the...it's not a matter of IF, but when it returns will still continue on..until unfortunately, they can no longer operate. Which is devastating to say the least. But Ashley is strong! She has been through so much in her life and you would never be able to tell. So we have faith and pray everything will turn out okay.

I will keep everyone updated as quickly as possible on the 4th. For now, I'm going to post some pics from her last surgery and her now.

Finally her now back to her beautiful self, and getting ready to go through so much more...

Much Love to you all!
