US vet needs help. Help save a hero

This is what a staph infection looks like. Not a pretty sight. This is the open thigh of Craig Abbas, a retired USMC vet. Today is his 33rd day in the ICU and they are still fighting the infection that has killed most of the muscle. To date he has had multiple surgeries, transfusions, etc. with no immediate end in sight. It has destroyed his thigh and calf so far. The thigh is still open as pictured and the skin graph on his calf has failed. After this and several attempts from his great doctors, his insurance company has decided to send him home. How can this be right? How can a company put a value on his life...the life of a veteran who has sacrificed so much to give us the freedoms we hold so dear to our heart? It just isn't right. What are we teaching our kids about the value of life? If you can, please help the outrageous medical bills he is accruing to safe his life. For him, his wife, his kids, and grandkids. Please let's show this country that we support and defend our vets, just like they did for our country!
